The SHS newsletter The Scoop comes out three times a year in February, May, and September. Read all about all of the good work we do for animals and the happy tails that result.

If you have a suggestion for an informative article about animals, please let us know. We will be happy to look into it and spread the word if we can.

If you have adopted an animal and want to share your happy tails, we would love to hear your stories. We make it easy. Submit your story and picture and you could see it posted on the website or in an upcoming edition of The Scoop.

	The Scoop - May 2010 We have declared 2010 the Year of the Cat and we are starting the celebration with a $15 special on feline spay or neuter surgery for the first 2,010 cats! With monthly events and specials, you can help us celebrate cats all year long. Learn more in this edition of The Scoop.
	The Scoop - February 2010 Learn more about Swiss, a boxer mix who found himself at the SHS in need of medical attention, not once, but twice! This sweet boy proved that patience can pay off when he landed himself a dream home!
	The Scoop - September 2009 New homes up North! The SHS has teamed up with a northern humane society to help dogs find homes. In this edition of The Scoop, read more about all the puppies and dogs who are finding homes in communities that actually have a shortage of adoptable dogs.
