Choosing euthanasia for a beloved companion is one of the most painful decisions we face as pet owners. It can also be the final act of kindness and mercy we can offer our pets.
At the Spartanburg Humane Society, we understand this and we are committed to helping pet owners during this difficult time.
The Spartanburg Humane Society offers a full range of services to assist you during the difficult time of losing a pet to honor and care for your loved one with integrity, dignity and compassion - from euthanasia services, to cremation, to honoring your pet in our beautiful memorial garden, we are here to support you and your family during this difficult time. You are always welcome to be present with your companion during euthanasia.
If you wish to not be present for the euthanasia and have a pet under 40 pounds, we ask for a minimum donation of $40. For pets over 40 pounds, we ask for a donation of $50.
To schedule an appointment to be present with your pet during the euthanasia procedure: 864-583-4805, ext. 116. We ask for a minimum donation of $65 for this service.
Appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm.
If you do not wish to be present with your pet during euthanasia, no appointment is necessary. This service is available Monday - Saturday.
