Responsible for the day to day evaluation, treatment and
rehabilitation efforts of animals brought to the shelter, doing surgery in a
high volume spay and neuter setting, and seeing low income and adoption clients

Animal Care Technician
Animal care technicians provide humane care of all animals in the shelter, including, but not
limited to, cleaning, feeding, watering and monitoring animal health
behavior. They also counsel and educate potential adopters and customers at

Customer Service Representative
Counsels and educates potential adopters and customers at SHS and satellite/mobile adoption centers. Responsible for receiving of animals from patrols and animal control, including but not limited to lost and found pet services, euthanasia/cremation services and counsel and educate patrons relinquishing their pets. This position is part of a team that evaluates and treats the shelter animals that arrive in need of veterinary care as well as the facilitation of the public wellness appointments; also provides the preparatory work, cleaning, and record keeping that is required to support those services.
