Socialize, Walk, and Train Dogs

A spirited game of fetch or a brisk walk can have an incredibly positive impact on a dog's day.  If you love dogs, this is a wonderful way to spend quality time with those who are awaiting adoption.

We need volunteers to walk dogs, provide some basic obedience training, play fetch. or just spend quiet quality time with them. By helping these dogs get exercise, basic training, playtime, and human attention, you are improving their stay at the shelter and preparing them for life in their new home.

Training:

Complete a Volunteer Application
Attend a Volunteer Orientation Session
Attend Canine Enrichment Training

Commitment:

We are looking for volunteers who will be committed to this program for a minimum of 1-2 hours per week.
