Summer Fun and Learning at the SHSCamp Love-A-Pet
The program, which is held at the SHS, teaches campers about basic dog obedience, responsible pet care, and issues impacting animal welfare. Each day, campers work in teams to train a shelter dog. Other activities include guest speakers, arts & crafts, journal writing, field trips, and other creative games and programs. Tuition is $200.00 and registration is on a first come, first served basis. Mini Camp for Younger Pet Lovers!
Young campers are introduced to basic training techniques and enrichment projects used at the SHS to keep the animals in our care comfortable. Whether campers are learning how to bathe a puppy, or clicker training cats, they will be enhancing their inherent love of animals.
